    <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;One of my file system is full,but I have no free PE to extend it,then I reduced 2 of other file system to get free PE,when I did this,&lt;BR /&gt;I got new trouble,since I resized my file system,the X server can't start on my display.these are the steps I have done: &lt;BR /&gt;1.shutdown -y 0 &lt;BR /&gt;2.tar cvf home.tar /home &lt;BR /&gt;3.tar cvf tmp.tar /tmp &lt;BR /&gt;4.umount /home,umount /tmp &lt;BR /&gt;5.lvreduce -L lv_size lv_path(lv_path is the /tmp and /home logic volume path) &lt;BR /&gt;6.newfs -F vxfs raw_lv_path(raw_lv_path is the /tmp and /home raw logic volume path) &lt;BR /&gt;7.mount /home,mount /tmp &lt;BR /&gt;8.tar xvf home.tar,tar xvf tmp.tar &lt;BR /&gt;9.umount /u01(u01 is the dest file system I wanna to extend) &lt;BR /&gt;10.lvextend -L lv_size lv_path(lv_path is the /u01 logic volume path) &lt;BR /&gt;11.entendfs -F vxfs raw_lv_path(lv_path is the /u01 raw_logic volume path) &lt;BR /&gt;12.mount /u01 &lt;BR /&gt;13.init 4 &lt;BR /&gt;When it started,theres a error message: &lt;BR /&gt;The X-server can not be started on display B2000:0... &lt;BR /&gt;For detials look into the file,Dtlogin.errorLogFile(default: /var/dt/Xerrors) &lt;BR /&gt;Following is the content of Xerrors: &lt;BR /&gt;Unable to open the Graphics Resource Manager. &lt;BR /&gt;The error occurred during GRM initialization. &lt;BR /&gt;The X11 server must be able to communicate with the &lt;BR /&gt;Fatal server error: &lt;BR /&gt;GRM process. &lt;BR /&gt;^[gXIO: fatal IO error 232 (Connection reset by peer) on X server "B2000:0.0"^M &lt;BR /&gt;after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining.^M &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please help me!!! &lt;BR /&gt;Thanks. &lt;BR /&gt;david Lee &lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>hi ,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope u hv not done anything to u'r network configuratoins. Follow the preocedure,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;01. nslookup "ip address"&lt;BR /&gt;02. nslookup "host name" (both the commands should return the same o/p or check /etc/hosts)&lt;BR /&gt;03. rm /dev/rct*&lt;BR /&gt;04. reboot -r&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hope u solve it,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;kaps&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
