ssh for 10.20

I have a 10.20 server which I would like to install SSH.

Does anyone have or know of a verion that I can download for this OS ?

10.20 is obsolete - you're going to have a hard time finding software for it. Maybe it's time to consider a move to 11.x?

You could have definitely found versions available for 10.20 prior to August. OpenSSH 3.4 has been released in August as a major bug was found with earlier versions of OpenSSH. I don't think anyone had compiled 3.4 for 10.20 as this OS is obsolete and that will be the last thing to care about.

I suggest you download openssh 3.4 and compile it to get it your 10.20 version. You will need to get openssl and zlib as well. It involves some work but I guess that is inevitable.

These users are a pain and haven't migrated. It's the only 10.20 server I have and once it's gone - so is 10.20.

Thank you for the assistance as I was trying NOT to have to go through all the compiling steps..

Hello.

HP-UX 10.20 is still supported until the 30th June 2002. It is NOT obsolete. They have every right to ask for support till the above date.

10.20 is discontinued, meaning that no support CDs are updated from HP anymore.

Sorry about the semantics, Vince, but the net result is the same - software for 10.20 is increasingly difficult to come by.

You are right. But we are in October now. Please check the following site

It does mean that there will be no new features developed for 10.20. All most all the current supported hardware types do no support 10.20. So, for all practical purposes 10.20 is obsolete unless we expect HP to explicitly use the word obsolete.

There is no scope for HP porting openssh 3.4 (after all it is a third party software) version.
