Using SAP, how can I make omniback restore to my staging system instead of my production system to do a database copy. It only wants to restore to the system it was backed up from.

Is this using the SAP recovery or filesytem? What database are you using (Infomix)?
Tommy

I am not sure of the SAP procedures, we don't use it.. I know the Openview Applications Forum has a lot of Traffic, and would probably be a better place for help.
Dumb question here. Does the Unix Integration Manual Pg 171 regarding the OB2HOSTNAME have any effect to what you are trying to accomplish?
I wish I could be of further help.. Our environment is Informix/HPUX
Tommy.

I moved this to the databases area - in the hopes that you will get a good answer. unfortunately, with 5 responses already, you may do better just to create a new post.

Good Luck.
