Oracle 9i installation on hpux 11.11

Hi ,

I have a problem in installing Oracle 9.2.0.1 on hpux 11.11 . Its failing during the installation , linking at 89%, I have already installed the latest patches and created the links in /usr/lib directory . The make.log shows the error

/usr/ccs/bin/ld: Couldn't find library for lclntsh

Can any one please reply quickly

Can you check for swinstall.log & syslog.log for more details abt why the installation is getting failed

Check to make sure that you have the latest patches installed. Also you'll require privileged capabilities for 'MLOCK' in the /etc/privgrp file. See the 'setprivgrp' man page for details.

more /etc/privgroup
dba MLOCK
