i would like to know the difference between HP-UX 11i v1, v1.5, v1.6 and v2.

At the simplest level, 11i v1 only runs on pa-risc, and v1.5, 1.6 only run on Itanium. 11i v2 only runs on Itanium today but should come out for pa-risc in the future. 11i v1.5 and 1.6 should really be upgraded to 11i v2 on Itanium.
