    <description>I'm trying to compile squid on 11.11 on a D370. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I've run ./configure without any problems.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;"make all" and "gmake all" fail.       <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You probably have not got the latest gcc&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.hp.com/dspp" target="_blank"&gt;www.hp.com/dspp&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;GCC versions:  3.3.3 and 3.4.1 &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Get it there&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then try again&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;            Steve steel&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hai,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; There is a Iexpress product with squid-2.5.5 &lt;BR /&gt;for 11.11 over &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://software.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=HPUXIEXP1111" target="_blank"&gt;http://software.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=HPUXIEXP1111&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; Squid options will be containing authentication modules with that.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;__muthu__</description>

      <description>I think you are running afoul of gcc's need/desire to much about with system header files and its not getting it right.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The suggestions to try the newer gcc's and/or the precompiled stuff from the Internet Express software (software.hp.com) are good - you could also consider the HP compiler(s) :)</description>
