    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the acroread in the bin directory is actually a shell script. If you look into it, you see in the first lines:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;install_dir=/opt/Acrobat4/Reader or someting alike. If your installdir is different from the mountdir you will see the posted errormessage.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Possible solutions:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-modify the script to your needs.&lt;BR /&gt;-create your own startscript&lt;BR /&gt;-link the directory configured in the startscript to your mountpoint.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this helps.       <title>Acrobat Reader  issue</title>

      <description>On an HPUX L2000 - I have acrobat reader mounted out via nis.  If I am on the home server directly where acrobat reader resides, acroread woks .. If I am on another box and use the mount point /prod/Acrobat4/bin and run ./arcoread I get thw following error:  "cannot find installation directory"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any suggestions?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks  ... lou&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Lou_L_Masucci@raytheon.com</description>

      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;Acrobat is looking for full path name to its files ie myserver/dir/dir/dir and because you are running it from a remote system it is looking on the remote systyem for its files.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Solution :- install it on the servers that you require it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Paula</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Make sure you export the entire Acrobat Reader directory tree and not just the related bin directory.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you mount it on the client in the same location as on the server, that should do the trick.  If, however, you mount it in a different location, you will have to modify the acroread file as noted above.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;--Bruce</description>
