There is no problem at all. Are you speaking about the 'STM' toolsets in particular?

Once you have the support plus CD mounted (as /cdrom), you can easily select the fileset using the directory '/cdrom/DIAGNOSTICS/B.11.00'

If you need assistance mounting the CD, let us know.

The best way is to use 'swinstall' with no options and you can work your way around the menu. Basically select the path (type it in), highlight the selection as I've stated above and use actions --> mark
and actions --> install

Don't forget if you update diagnostics, and you have mirrored vg00, you need to ensure that they are installed into the LIF of the mirror disk, too. Do this with either: -

If 32 bit OS: -

mkboot -b /usr/sbin/diag/lif/updatediaglif -p ISL -p AUTO -p HPUX -p PAD -p LABEL /dev/rdsk/<MIRROR disk="" device="">

If 64 bit OS: -

mkboot -b /usr/sbin/diag/lif/updatediaglif2 -p ISL -p AUTO -p HPUX -p PAD -p LABEL /dev/rdsk/<MIRROR disk="" device="">

You can check whether 32/64 bit OS with: -

getconf KERNEL_BITS</MIRROR></MIRROR>

As you can see from http://www.docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/diag/stm/stm_upd.htm#table , A.43.00 was not released for 11.00, but A.44.00 was.

There should be no problems upgrading to A.44.00. You should also install the latest patch for that revision, which is currently PHSS_30890.

Note that A.44.00 is the last version of OnlineDiags that will be released for HP-UX 11.00.
