Syslog Error

Dear All

We have HP 9000, L-1000 Server with HPUX 11.00
and Sendmail-8.11.0.

the Server was working very well, Suddenly it stopped working, The Sendmail Process will be running but we are not able to send mails from command mode "sendmail-v" as well as by "Outlook Express"

Sometimes the telnet/rlogin also we are unable to do.

Only error message in syslog is as follows:

Jul 4 15:36:23 blrnd1 vmunix: bindresvport:loop_twice port assigned 512
Jul 4 15:36:39 blrnd1 vmunix: bindresvport:loop_twice port assigned 512
Jul 4 15:37:31 blrnd1 vmunix: bindresvport:loop_twice port assigned 512
Jul 4 15:37:38 blrnd1 above message repeats 3 times

and from Dmesg is ::

None of the config files had been modified ,

can anyone help us to resolve this.

Hello Roobala,

S3100001580 which is avail in ITRC give an explanation. While looking quickly through the database I've seen this appear on NFS-server timeouts and in Dumpanalysises.

Well if the document does not help you, perhaps someone from your HP-ResonseCenter could analyze a TOC-dump for you if you TOC the machine while it hangs. Sinceerly if there is any thing, the support center will find it.

thanks for the reply,
But I could not locate that document.
As U said thus system mounted 3 file system from another server as NFS and using that for its application.

I hope the problem is due to this NFS only,
What could be the problem, Can any one suggest?
If the system is too much loaded, is there any way to increase/ Improve the NFS access by enabling more channels or some thing,

If I am wrong I am sorry.
