Console Login problem

all,

a couple weeks ago I modified /tcb/files/devassign and ttys

All my rlogin and ttys work great however, I need to use the console to day to setup Predictive Support and I can't login either via serial or web console. Can anyone tell what I dicked up ?>

does anyone have any ideas what device names I need to have for the console? or why I am not able to login in on the console???

according to other references to the tcb auth stuff the console or web console does not fall in the category. ANY OTHER IDEAS why i can login via Telnet but not Console or Web Console?
