    <description>hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if you have NO HW means the driver is already built into the kernel, but you are not able to query the hardware. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;u have to remove the device files using rmsf -H hardware path.&lt;BR /&gt;hardware path identified from the ioscan output. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;with best wishes&lt;BR /&gt;Naveej</description>

      <description>Hello All,&lt;BR /&gt;I have an L class (11.i) attached to an xp512.&lt;BR /&gt;Is there any way to discover lun change ie. create/delete without having to reboot. insf-does not appear to work.</description>

      <description>Hi Galen,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;All you have to do is:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1) ioscan -fnC disk&lt;BR /&gt;then&lt;BR /&gt;2) insf&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If new devices were created the ioscan will find them &amp;amp; the insf will create the device files.&lt;BR /&gt;To delete you use the rmsf command on both the /dev/dsk &amp;amp; /dev/rdsk entries.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH,&lt;BR /&gt;Jeff</description>
