      <description>xanim is probably the most versatile.  It&lt;BR /&gt;can handle some forms of AVI.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://smurfland.cit.buffalo.edu/xanim/home.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://smurfland.cit.buffalo.edu/xanim/home.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;xanim doesn't handle mpeg very well.&lt;BR /&gt;I seem to recall another program called&lt;BR /&gt;"mpeg_play" that would play mpegs.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HP ships a free product called MPower//Web&lt;BR /&gt;on the Applications CDs has some multimedia tools,&lt;BR /&gt;but as far as I know it doesn't include any animation&lt;BR /&gt;viewer.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
