      <description>Using a static ip on RedHat 7.2 -&lt;BR /&gt;nslookup on a hostname that is NOT&lt;BR /&gt;in dns will not resolve from the /etc/host file.  I have tried moving resolv.conf to a different name. My nsswitch.conf looks like this:&lt;BR /&gt;hosts:      files nisplus dns</description>
