SMTP AUTH

Hello everybody,
We have a HP-UX server R380 with Sendmail 8.8.6 (PHNE_17135) that we use as SMTP server.
We would like to configure the SMTP authentication in order to solve some security problem.
How can I modify the sendmail configuration?
And How can I use ldap to authenticate my users?
Has anybody got any answer for this issue?

This feature is not available until sendmail version 8.11. This has not been released yet.

Now that it has been released, I have been looking everywhere for help with SMTP AUTH on sendmail. I was successful on a Linux server, but on HPUX 11i, I am finding few resources. Any suggestions?

in sendmail.cf

There are a antispam section,
check the scheck_relay part,
then configure LocalIP, DeniedIP,
LocalName.
