      <title>L2000 HP-UX 11i cannot boot !!!!!</title>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm running a HP L2000 server, 2 CPU and HP-UX 11i.&lt;BR /&gt;The only system modification since last reboot is IP address, from 192.50.50.7 to 192.50.50.1, via SAM.&lt;BR /&gt;The server cannot boot.&lt;BR /&gt;I have the following errors : &lt;BR /&gt;"EARLY BOOT UFP : SYSTEM ALERT&lt;BR /&gt;SYSTEM NAME uninitialized",&lt;BR /&gt;"real_page_alloc_addr() fails, status = -1".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can somebody help me ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in advance.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;David&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When the system boots if does hardware checks. Did the system detect any errors?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If the only change you made is the ip-adress. you should be able to boot in single user mode:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;interrupt the boot process.&lt;BR /&gt;bo pri&lt;BR /&gt;interqact with ipl: yes&lt;BR /&gt;hpux -is (boot single user mode)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;check /etc/rc.config.d/netconf for double network entries.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if you can not boot signle user mode try booting the previouse kernel.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this will help,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Gideon</description>
