      <title>HP Machine Not Booting up</title>

      <description>One of our HP A Class machine&lt;BR /&gt;is booting up after applying the kernel patch PHKL_27091.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Output of  uname -a&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt; HP-UX hpunix3 B.11.11 U 9000/800 582760568 unlimited-user license&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please find the attachment of the error message.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How to unistall these patch?.&lt;BR /&gt;How to get into single user&lt;BR /&gt;mode?. &lt;BR /&gt;I have a laptop connected to this with hyper terminal.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Time to breakout the make_tape_recovery and see if you can recover the machine, or boot into single user mode:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;interact with IPL (enter in YES)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;then do this:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hpux -is&lt;BR /&gt;mount /usr&lt;BR /&gt;mount all&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;live free or die&lt;BR /&gt;harry</description>

      <description>Have you attempted to start the system with th old kernel?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Interrupt the boot sequence and type this fro the ISL prompt.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ISL&amp;gt; hpux /stand/vmunix.prev &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Did you create an ignite backup before starting?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
