DLT Drive Installation

Hi,

I am trying to install a Sun DLT 7000 drive on an L-class server with HP-UX 11.0 .Have already loaded the latest stape and other drivers in the kernel.
However, the ioscan-fn o/p does not show up the drives nor does insf -e create the required device files.
Can someone tell me if I am doing something wrong or missing out a step here ?

Hi there.
Several questions :
to what kind of interface did you connect it ?
Is it daisychained with something else ?
what about the cablelength for the SCSI bus ?
Is the SCSI bus properly terminated ?
Interface should be FWD SCSI for this DLT drive only, no daisychaining.
Perhaps you can post some more details.
