      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I install SYBASE 12.00 on HP-UX 11.00 but when I try to start DB server i get:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved symbol: __head (data)  from /usr/lib/libC.2&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved module for symbol: __shlinit (code)  from /usr/lib/l&lt;BR /&gt;ibCsup.2&lt;BR /&gt;8086 Abort(coredump)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Help!&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>This MAY be the problem only if you don't know about it.  The directory structure for sybase 12 is different from the earlier verions.  The PATH may need to be changed.  There are  SYBASE, SYBASE_ASE, and SYBASE_OCS variables.  You have lib directories under $SYBASE/$SYBASE_OCS  and in $SYBASE/$SYBASE_ASE.&lt;BR /&gt;Hope it helps.&lt;BR /&gt;Steve</description>
