      <description>the nmap subcommand does not seem to map the file name correctly.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My example:&lt;BR /&gt;remote system A has a file named a.b that I want to get to local system B.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;local system B: command string:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ftp -in &amp;lt;&amp;lt; EOD&lt;BR /&gt;open systema&lt;BR /&gt;user gorilla banana&lt;BR /&gt;lcd /temp/systemb/files&lt;BR /&gt;cd /temp/systema/files&lt;BR /&gt;nmap $1.$2 $1.$2.daily.HOT1.five.six.ARD&lt;BR /&gt;mget *&lt;BR /&gt;quit&lt;BR /&gt;EOD&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Produces a file on local system B:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/temp/systemb/files/..daily.HOT1.five.six.ARD&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any suggestions?</description>
