      <description>Hello,&lt;BR /&gt;I have deleted the arp entry for the Hp server.&lt;BR /&gt;How can I recreate it.&lt;BR /&gt;Unfortunately I used arp -D hostname.&lt;BR /&gt;I am unable to connect remotely.&lt;BR /&gt;Please help me to solve the problem.&lt;BR /&gt;This is urgent.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks.&lt;BR /&gt;Manikandan&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>You add an arp entry just like deleting one.&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;/usr/sbin/arp -s $HOST $MAC&lt;BR /&gt;I would actually recommend that if anything changes frequently on the network.  I.E. DHCP hosts with dynamic pooling and the $HOST is among them, use&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;/usr/sbin/arp -s $HOST $MAC temp&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you delete the arp entry for a host, then try to talk to the host via any network protocol, then the entry should be re-created for you!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;/usr/sbin/arp -a &lt;BR /&gt;will show you your complete routing table.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Shannon</description>
