      <description>I am reinstalling Oracle on our backup system and I get this error whenever I run the Installer. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;"Initializing Java Virtual machine, stage/components/oracle/swd/jre/1.1.7/Datafiles/Expanded/jre/hpunix/bin/jre please wait....&lt;BR /&gt;Error in create OUI process () -1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I followed the directions from the manual as well as the Oracle help page. Mainly the following:&lt;BR /&gt;1. Created oracle and oinstall user and group as well as dba.&lt;BR /&gt;2. Created u01,u02, u03 directory.&lt;BR /&gt;3. Set environment.&lt;BR /&gt;4. Check kernel parameter.&lt;BR /&gt;5. Modify permission.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please let me know if you know what this error is. Everything on the Oracle website is not helpful.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
