Installing gcc

Has anyone succeeded at installing gcc on HP-UX 10.20?

I have tried 2.95.2, 2.95.3, 2.7.2.3; make bootstrap etc...

Not on 10.20, but on 11.00. Have you installed binutils, flex, gettext, bison/byacc already?

I have gcc 2.95.2 installed on my HP-UX 10.20 box. As mentioned above you need the binutils installed.

Where did you get your gcc files? I got mine from the Software Porting Center (e.g. http://hpux.asknet.de/hppd/hpux/Gnu/gcc-2.95.2). So far i had no problems with this compiler, no errors during installation.

What kind of errors do you get? Do you get errors during installation or when you try to compile something?

Again make sure that you have the binutils already installed befor installing gcc.
