Hi,

Read next Thread:
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=21108

You'll see you can kill it, but it would take a small periode and its back at 100% usage again.
If you do not need it disable it in the /etc/inittab, or see if it's a patch issue.

HTH,
Peter

hi,

There have been lot of posts/threads on the issue of SAMD utilising 100% of the CPU.

All these are pointing to the same issue
1. SAM Patch
2. Remove entry for samd from /etc/inittab

Search for SAMD in the search bar and your issue is half way solved

regds
Naveej

Hi

commenting the line containing "samd" in /etc/inittab would solve this problem.

applying recent patch bundle(support plus) also helps
