    <description>Have there been any changes on this host recently (e.g. OS upgrade, patching, replaced cdrom, etc.)?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is this a new problem to a system that has been working fine until recently?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You might ensure you have the latest HW Enablement bundle installed and also update your OnlineDiag.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you are getting this error, but the cdrom appears to be working okay, a newer version of OnlineDiag might do the trick.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;David</description>

      <description>Hi Mathew,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is your DVD drive an external drive?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check your SCSI cables. Fix it properly.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try reading from a different media??&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;do an ioscan adn see whether the device is getting detected?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Change the SCSI Id of the drive and do and insf -e to bind the dvdrom drivers to the new hardware address.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;with best wishes&lt;BR /&gt;Naveej</description>

      <description>i don't know if an upgrade was done .&lt;BR /&gt;the DVD rom work perfectly but EMS still send me those errors .</description>
