I am trying to login to a server usin xdm from an entria II. I get the login window, when I enter a user name and password I get login incorrect...

What login name are you using? some systems don't accept root login directly and you have to login as a normal user first then "su" to root after.

Hi,

1) Check that your CAPS LOCK is off.

2) You will have to reactivate your account if you attempted too many wrong passwords.

3) Try not to include special characters in the password.

4) Reset the user password and try again.

I have done all of this, and it still dont work. I am wondering if this is an xdm security issue
