Hello

On CDE 2.1, the session manager use the current session but there is no "marker" on the options->session that indicate that indicate the default like in cde 1.0.

In the Xconfig file, I put Dtlogin*session: /usr/dt/bin/Xsession. Now I have got a marker but the session selected is always the last one.

how can I choose the default session.

thank
I'm not 100 % certain what your problem is from your description but it sounds like a known issue : see below :

PHSS_26490 latest CDE patch :

extract from patch text :

PHSS_23800

5. dtgreet options menu doesn't contain "Home session", "Current session"

you may want to install this and see if the problem persists ?

Ahh by marker you mean the little red dot ..... I've been digging to no avail .... I have a sneaky suspicion this is meant to be this way ..... unless you don't get a red dot/ marker once you've selected a home or current session ?

I get the red dot once I ve selected the home or current session.
On 10.20, by default, I ve got the red dot for the used session. I would understand the behavior on 11.x when i modified the Xconfig with Dtlogin*session.

thank for your help.
