topic Oracle 9is Install Issues in Operating System - HP-UX

When trying to run the Oracle installer, encounter this error:

/usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved symbol: JNU_GetStringPlatformChars (code) from /opt
/java1.2/jre/lib/PA_RISC/libnet.sl

When I run nm on this file, it shows the JNU variable with no value and status of undef. Is there a patch or some fix to populate this value properly? Oracle install will not proceed without it..... Thanks

There is a published set of HP patchs required for Oracle 9i. Also, there are documented kernel parameters required for Oracle 9i and HP/UX 11.
