Hi Alberto,

If HP helped you with the engineering part, then it would be their responsibility to make sure they send compatible parts. If you ordered them on your own, then they are not responsible.

-Sri

Hi all
I have a problem whit a hp 9000 rp5405 and a rack compaq 10000. The rail kit supplied by hp p/n A5556A doesn't work well whit this rack. The hp's call center has provided me the name of a third part (Jonathan engineered solutions) that produce a kit of adaption, p/n 249579K. But that kit is out of sell over hp responsibility.
Can anyone help me?
Bye
Alberto

Hi Alberto

We have used a kit like this before, (which I believe was made by the company you specified), but be warned, the instructions supplied with it say you need to move the main columns within the rack.

J.
