Oracle 8.0.5 and HP-UX 11.0 : ORA-12547 error

Can anyone give me some suggestions to the ORA/TNS-12547 errors that I am getting. The database is in full production, the kernel is properly configure. These errors are at random, happening at least three times a day.

Is there some new patch to fix this problem. All patches that have been recommended by HP are applied.

ORA-12547: TNS:lost contact

Cause: Partner has unexpectedly gone away, usually during process start-up.

Action: Investigate partner application for abnormal termination. On an Interchange, this can happen if the
machine is overloaded.

Patch is PHSS_22514 instead of PHSS_22478.
The rest is in the thread., that Rita already mentioned.
