    <description>Simply backup a large file with no useful data in it--say /stand/vmunix?  Just repeat in a script until you run out of tape</description>

      <description>Does anyone know of a utility/application that would write garbage to a tape, therefore "sanitizing" it in case it got lost in the mail? I know this is a goofy question but it's real.</description>
