Q4 core analysing

Hi guys,

I had a crash on an HP-UX 11.00 system, I want to analyse my crash dump files in /var/adm/crash.0 but I need more space. I don't have enought space left on that system to do the analyse, so I want to do it on another system. The systeme that I plan to do the analyse is run HP-UX 11i...

Will q4 on the box B (HP-UX 11i) will be able to analyse the crash files from box A (HP-UX 11.00)???

Hi Jonathan,

I would temporarily give NFS access to the 11i system if storage is the concern.

You should be able to analyze 11.0's crash files on 11i system though I haven't done it. You can see Q4 libs for 10.01 to 11.22 under /usr/contrib/Q4/lib directory.
