Hi all, I'd like to read a book that explains something about HP-UX (like Design of the UNIX Operating System by Maurice J. Bach for general unix systems).
Have you got any suggestions for me?

Course material provided during HP-UX SNA programs is good.

HP-UX Certified by Rafeeq-Ur-Rehman is also highly recommended.

Your in luck, an hp-ux internals book has just been announced. Can't tell you what its like, i've had it ordered for about a month but its not through yet....

The chapter details seems very similar to the official course though, apart from the vxfs chapter. Note its based on the 11i (11.11) release.

You will find mistakes.

In one version there are no answers to the practice test.

Its a good guide for learning basic sysadmin even if you never intend to take the test.

Also, make sure you check out half.com before you purchase the book elsewhere.
