Hello All,

Anybody know of any unpublished Oracle bugs with 9i when it comes to partitioning? I know oracle is famous for not admitting to bugs until they find a solution to them.

9i Release 2 has an object locking issue when doing development work on the database.

The patch 9.0.2.4 does fix it though you'll get varying answers depending on whom you speak with.

It is best to go to the latest major release of Oracle 9i Release 2.
