Hi,

I have one A500 connecting to Internet with an internet address. I want to provide access to all PCs in our office internet connection by this A500. So I need a proxy for HPUX, but where can i get it? Also, if someone can provide me a firewall on HPUX would be highly
appreciated!

"ipfilter" is a free firewall for HPUX. You will find many links in this forum

Hi,
There is a open source proxy software called
squid.

Download source from http://www.squid-cache.org
and compile it on HP-UX with gcc

Hi,

I use tinyproxy a proxy server for forwarding http requests.
http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Networking/WWW/tinyproxy-1.3.0/

But what u need is Squid / ipchains or iptables.

Google for more info. Not sure if a porting for the same exists for HP. Else, u may have to download the sources and compile from them.
