    <description>If you are referring to a unified buffer cache like True64 does, (A filesystem buffer cache) then yes.  If you are talking about a buffer for filesystem, swap, device, etc all at once, then no.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For the former, search for a forums listing on 'buffer cache' or 'dbc_max_pct' or 'nbuf'.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope it helps&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;John</description>
