create net recovery failed

Hi all
i`m trying to make net recovery to a new agent
but i`m getting the error "ERROR venus is an unknown host" (venus is the name of the ignite-server).
both hosts are using nis and there is no problem doing nslookup on both hosts.

Did you check the nslookup worked with both hostname and ip address??

Can you post the command you used and the recovery log or commandline error message in its entirety?

thanks for refrashing my memory , while looking at the /etc/nsswitch.conf i have found the problem and now it`s working .
