    <description>Go through this document&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.software.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=HPUXWSATW100901" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.software.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=HPUXWSATW100901&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Which talks about the system requirement, below is an extract which talks about the ld version to be upgraded for it to work and install the patch said&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Apache binaries (PA-RISC) require ld and libdld version B.11.32 or higher.&lt;BR /&gt;To determine the version on your machine, type ld -V and what /usr/lib/libdld.sl at the command line. Install the correct patch from IT Resource Center for Americas and Asia Pacific or Europe. &lt;BR /&gt;  -   PHSS_26559 for HP-UX 11.00 or &lt;BR /&gt;  -   PHSS_26560 for HP-UX 11i (11.11) &lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <title>Apache Error on HPUX 11</title>

      <description>Just installed the latest HPApache Webserver suite (v.1.0.09.01 Apache 2.0.47) and I get the following error when trying to start Apache.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;./apachectl start&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved symbol: getaddrinfo (code)  from /opt/hpws/apache/lib/libapr-0.sl.9&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;./apachectl[160]: 15892 Abort&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please help!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;Jc</description>

      <description>check the swagentd log from the installation. Almost certainly this installation has failed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;sweverify \* will show errors.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You may be able to fix them as follows:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;swconfig \*&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If that doesn't work, remove the product and resinstall.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;swremove&lt;BR /&gt;swinstall&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>Installed this one earlier: PHSS_26559 &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Tried what it says.&lt;BR /&gt;# ld -V&lt;BR /&gt;92453-07 linker command s800.sgs ld PA64 B.11.33 REL 020603&lt;BR /&gt;ld: 92453-07 linker linker ld B.11.33 020617&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ksh: ./libdld.sl: cannot execute&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Apache same error.&lt;BR /&gt;------------------&lt;BR /&gt;Guess I'll install&lt;BR /&gt;PHSS_26560 for HP-UX 11i (11.11)&lt;BR /&gt;and see if it helps.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;Jc</description>

      <description>Thank you Gentlemen.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The PHSS_26559 Patch worked.  I had to swremove the Apache that I had installed on the box because it was with IPv6 and it was for HP11.11.  I downloaded the latest HPUXWSATW-A100901-1100PA.depot and installed it and its working great.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;Jc&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
