I hope you have a support contract, because you need to invoke it.

A quick search at metalink.oracle.com.....revealed nothing. You need to contact Oracle, reason being you need to open an Itar and send them the trace file and the core, or just try the newer patch, maybe the readme will tell you it addressed the problem. There's actaully a special support catagory for 7445 errors, if memory serves. I suspect you will end up patching, however you didn't lend much info here, is this a new install or a problem that developed over time? HP-UX Version?

As mentionned already, there isn't much info available out there from what is given here. Though there is definitely one thing I would, as my DBAs always do that with me prior to upgrading an Oracle version. Make sure you have all the necessary patches that Oracle recommends.

make sure you provide the RDA output and upload all the trace files.

It is much faster to solve these types of errors (ORA-600, ORA-7445) using the experts there!

HP UX11.11 ?

There is a bug with the HP-Compiler and Oracle 9.2.
Patch is needed for Oracle.
