      <description>Hello&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm monitoring an application that is leaving open files as it processes without an apparent cause.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The output of lsof regarding one of those unknown files is &lt;BR /&gt;COMMAND   PID    USER   FD   TYPE FILE-FLAG      DEVICE   SIZE/OFF  NODE NAME&lt;BR /&gt;bcgm    11523 bscsadm   45u   REG      R,LG  64,0x6000b       152 88484 /apps/bms (/dev/vgapps/lvol11)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When i try to see which file it is neither ls -i or find -inum is able to locate the file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can someone please help me in trying to figure out what is happening.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thnaks in advance.</description>
