    <description>&lt;BR /&gt;osmgui/symmconsole need plenty of sempahores just to fire up, once theyre running they free up the semaphores they needed so its difficult to spot this is the problem. Increase your semaphores (semmns and semmni) and rebuild your kernel, reboot then retry.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi Ken,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;it looks like you did'nt define the Gatekeepers in the ECC. Which version of ECC are you using?&lt;BR /&gt;The ECC or OpenSymetrixManager (old Version) needs a Gatekeeper to talk to the Box.&lt;BR /&gt;To start the symmConsole you need to do the following:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1. source the Environment (/usr/emc/ECC/symmappsrc.(c)sh , depends on your shell)&lt;BR /&gt;2. start symmConsole&lt;BR /&gt;3. Press the right mouse button and start the poller&lt;BR /&gt;4. Launch the osmgui&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this helps&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Frank</description>
