Informix command error-GLS initialization failed, error -23101

Dear experts

Who can help the above error infomations?

I recently installed Informix dynamic server 2000 on one L2000, (HPUX 11.i), the installation is very successful, but whichever I run informix command: onstat, oncheck, etc. I met the above headache problem. Who could pls help me a hand?

Please post the output of:

echo $DB_LOCALE
echo $SERVER_LOCALE
echo $CLIENT_LOCALE
echo $INFORMIXDIR

I only got the result of INFORMIXDIR
/usr/local/ccm/informix

What shall I do next?

are the permissions on $INFORMIXDIR/gls set correctly
