I use to update another server from mine with rdist, but can my server be updated from another one with the rdist command running on my server? I would like to an example of a config file?

Hi Jasmin,

quick question... why do you want to use rdist?
You can use swinstall on the target box and point it to a depot on a remote box.

Just an idea :-)

I should have said "copy file" instead of "update", It not for installing software that I use rdist.

It uses comparisons of files on the localhost to see what has to be updated on the remotehost.

You'd have to run rdist on the other host to sync it with yours.
