      <description>are your users home directories NFS mounted?&lt;BR /&gt;If so, there is a known issue f htey have a history file on the NFS mounted directory.&lt;BR /&gt;Move it off onto a local file system.</description>

      <description>Yup , I have mounted the remote UNIX to this UNIX , the remote UNIX was rebooted , how can I know what path was NFS mounted , and how to disable the NFS ? Thx.</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The othe way to do it is to set the HISTFILE variable in the profiles or in /etc/profile to something local, ie :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;export HISTFILE=/tmp/.sh_history&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards</description>

      <description>you can also use the noquota option when mounting nfs file systems.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;check the man pages of mount_nfs.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;mount -F nfs -o noquota &lt;IP&gt;:/home /home&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;/IP&gt;</description>
