      <description>Hi Guys,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I need to find out the SQLNet Version that I am running, is there a command to find out the version that I am currently running.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;sqlplus actually uses the SQLNet engine... I can find out the sqlplus version by doing a sqlplus -? ... but how do I find out the SQLNet Version ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any help would be appreciated.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;Shabu</description>

      <description>Also, 'lsnrctl version' reports version numbers for the major pieces of the SQL*Net software.  I'm not sure that there is one product called SQL*Net though.  It's a bundle of a bunch of stuff.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Generally, it's the same version as the database starting with version 8.0.  Version 7.3 of the database used sqlnet 2.3 or something like that. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Oracle started synchronizing it's version numbers a couple of years ago to avoid confusion.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
