Can anyone tell me on what CD is CDE run time environment for 11.x? I have March 2001, I looked on all the cd's, install, apps, and cannot find it?

Hi Magdi,

CDE is a subset of the HPUX Install. Mount the
install/update/recovery CD (March 2001 11.0 Part No. is 5011-4489).

Execute swinstall
Hilite (for example) HPUXEng64RT.
Actions->Open Item
You will see CDE displayed. You can then mark and install it; any other required packages will also be marked.

I believe that CDE is part of the Install/Core OS cdrom.
