DISASTER Subsys:NS_LS_DRIVER ... ?

Hello All friends,

Today when I tried to setup the HP 712 W/Ss,
3 W/Ss encountered the following same issues:

* error msg:
?? DISASTER Subsys:NS_LS_DRIVER Loc:01029
Network NS_LS_DRIVER Disaster 1029, pid[ICS]
LAN card on interface unit0 has network problem ,
check the cable for possible disconnection
* occur situations:
'start NIS client' during booting('config LAN interface' was ok);
after breaking the booting and login the system as 'root',
I noticed that the Net interface status is 'down' through 'lanscan';
I ran 'ifconfig lan0 up', no error;
then I run 'lanscan', the status was changed to 'up' now,
BUT immediately the same msg displayed again,
and the status was changed back to 'down'!
* ?????????:
1.what is NS_LS_DRIVER?
2.what are the possible reasons that lead to this issue?
3.how can we solve it?
