Hi Zafar,
If your CD-ROM is connected on PC then You can't mount that CD-ROM to HP-UX

Hi Zafar,
I don't think so. (But if that is true then good)
you can export CDROM from unix system to unix system.
But there is another way.
If you use samba then from unix you can export file system to PC, then you can copy from your PC-CD to unix's file system.

But you mean your Cd-ROM has windows based content and you have CD-ROM drive connected on HP-UX then following command should work.
#mount -F cdfs -o cdcase devicename /cdrom

Hi Zafar

i thing that the answer is :

mount -o cdcase device file /cdrom

if the cd was made if format for pc this is the command that you have to use

if the cd is a oracle that you need to install then you must use the a diff command .
