Does anyone know whether HPUX 10.20 is supported on L1000 server.

The L series machines only support 64-bit operating systems, so HP-UX 10.20 is NOT supported. These machines will run only HP-UX 11.X in 64-bit mode.

No. You have to have a 64bit version running on L1000. You can use HP-UX 11.X !

NO...It supports 64 bit OS i.e 11.00 and above.

My first question to you would be why would you want to do this? Do you have a certain piece of software that is tied to the 10.20 version? If it is because you are unfamiliar with 11.X, rest assured that 11.X is very easy to get up to speed on and the install is a cinch. To answer your question, no you cannot run 10.20 on an L1000 that I am aware of. Install 11.00 if you are having doubts about the complexity of using vxvm.(which debuted in 11.11 or 11i). Otherwise, jump right in with 11.x and if you run into any problems, come on back to the itrc. There are lots of great folks here who would be glad to help you through any issues that may arise(myself included). Hope this helps.
