Token Ring Line Errors

Hi,

In lanadmin, there is a high number of line errors against the token ring card.
Does anyone know what these line errors are, and if they indicate a problem ?

Hi

Have a look round for other errors

netfmt -t 30 /var/adm/nettl.LOG00 > /tmp/nettl.out

Check the hardware path of your card from ioscan then

echo "sel path 8/16/6;info;infolog;exit" | cstm > /tmp/lan.out

Check with your network guys to see if there are any LAN errors in the router logs

sh int fe0

The only thing it states in lanadmin is :

Line Errors = 1958744

There are no other errors within lanadmin. I have checked all the other usual places for any error messages, but to no avail.

Doesn't seem to contain line errors. Have only skimmed through it mind (it busy at the mo)
