it means that the boot area of your disk does not contain hpux - at least a bootable version.

Just for pleasure, what is the output of:

ISL> hpux ll

if you sto the boot sequence and run sea ipl you can know wich disk is bootable

Try doing "ls" at the ISL prompt to see what's available.

but question is i boot from the mirrored disk, i don't know whether i need to make mirror config one more time?

I think that it's better reconfigure you mirror again.

if you find the old question about it in this forum, you can know if you do all steps in right mode
